Travelling as a family? Kids join for free!

A YHA Family Membership offers great savings. Simply pay for an adult membership and each child aged 17 years and under can become a member for free. 

Even if only one parent is a member of YHA, free memberships will be issued to all children who are 17 years and under.

Membership Details

Adults must purchase a full priced adult membership to ensure the kids join free.

Family memberships are valid for 12 months.

When purchasing this membership, please keep in mind it may take up to 5 working days for the card to reach you by post.

Note: Online memberships are only available to Australian residents. If you live overseas, you can purchase a membership when you check in at your first YHA hostel, or from your local YHA/HI association before leaving home.
