  • margaret river very nice, hostel away from centre of town, facilities OK, must do a wineries tour if you are there, office hours could be better

    Peaceful setting which is 15 minute walk to the centre. Very good facilities. Will definitely return. Why go to a hotel when you have this place!!

  • This YHA hostel is set on 2.5 acres of gardens with a licensed bar, BBQ and swimming pool, large kitchen and internet. Relax in the lounge with pool table, arcade games and a snack kiosk. 

    The hostel is the perfect base to explore the famous Margaret River wine region, go surfing or discover the Jarrah, Marri and Karri forests. 

    Margaret River YHA can also help working holiday makers find jobs in the local area.

    This YHA is located near the famous Margaret River wine region and it is well worth visiting the area to sample the local produce. You can visit many wineries, breweries, cheese, chocolate, coffee and ice-cream factories. The area is also known for its world famous surf breaks. Or if you just want to relax, enjoy the hostel's facilities such as Foxtel and the football pitch.

    Nightlife

    There is Live music every Fri, Sat, Sun at the at Settlers Tavern, just a short walk from the Margaret River YHA hostel. Nightly meal specials around town. Karaoke on Mon and Thur, Pool Comp every Tue; open until midnight on Wednesday.
