    Great city central location, especially handy for those early morning train departures! Great art deco building with lots of character both inside & out, 4 floors of great facilities for travellers.

    My mattress was sloping severely into the middle, which didn't make for a good night's sleep. I was in a dorm on the third floor, and found the showers & toilets immaculate. Well done! I was concerned that in case of a fire, how would one get out the exit door on the third door? The door's locked, and no sign of how to open. The kitchen was clean, but a mess, but that's the hostellers' doing.

    Friendly staff and generally a more mature crowd make this an ideal stay for the 25+ traveller. Decent gym, nice comfy couches and a fair internet price. The only things I didn't like was the dining room window that couldn't be closed, it hasn't be repaired for 5+ weeks, was cold with it being winter and no internet availability in dorm rooms. Minor issues, overall a pleasant stay, recommended.

    Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is within easy walk to the CBD and Train Station- very close to the track though! An enjoyable experience in Perth.

    Try to get a room away from railway line into Perth which runs directly behind the hostel. If not you will get wake up call 4.30am onwards by the constant blowing of train horns as they enter Perth station. Other than that the hostel is excellent. Shame that some people do not clean up following their meals in the kitchen, spoils it for others.

    Great hostel passing through I couldn't be happier price and location, with good facilities, by Perth standards this would have to rate pretty good. YHA all over Aus have reliable honest standards, and this no different, with the great staff this would be my preferred hostel in Perth city.
