I found the hostel very impressive. I really enjoyed my stay there. I wish I could stay longer but I had to resume work on 2 January without fail. I would be happy to come on a visit again.

My friend and I are about 60 years of age so were a bit worried about how the younger people would treat us, but we had nothing to worry about because everyone was friendly and welcomed us.

The YHA brochure states phone for pick up from airport. This is not correct. You have to get a taxi. It's also used by the workers from the Super Pit so is fairly noisy in the morning. Not ideal if on holiday.

no one showed me where anything was. eg: toilets/showers etc. i had to go looking for myself. not a very welcoming feeling

Not really a traveler's place - full of contract workers. Not even a plate or fork in the kitchen - you are expected to buy your own! Upper floor has no male toilets at all. Wouldn't recommend the place for backpackers.

Was stayed in a Twin room which is right next to the pool and TV room. People were so noisy . Lack of friendliness by staffs and all the notices around the building.
