  • This was the first time I'd stayed in a hostel, and I'd picked a quiet time of the year. The staff were very helpful, and Kalbarri is a beautiful town, with lots to do in the outdoors.

  • The Kalbarri Backpackers YHA is centrally located to town and only minutes from the river and beach. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, tour bookings and information desk. Internet facilities, guest telephone, laundry, free use of boogie boards and snorkel gear for hostel guests. the hostel is a great base for exploring the Kalbarri National Park and Murchison Gorge.

    Kalbarri has pristine beaches, challenging surf and great fishing. Best of all, you can trek down the breathtaking Murchison Gorges. Check out "Z Bend Gorge", "The Loop" and "Nature's Window". At the Kalbarri YHA you can ask for advice at our tour booking and information desk. There are activities to suit all ages and fitness levels.
