    The cleanliness of the facilities left a lot to desire, particularly the bathroom, but the kitchen as well. However the staff were quite good.

    I was disappointed by the lack of functioning coffee machines, the fridges being completely full of food, and time-worn blinds. The bathrooms weren't very clean but once mentioned to the staff, it was looked after pretty fast. The highlight of my stay was when I lost my mobile phone in the car park, it was found and returned to me. Security and honesty are pretty good in Rocky. A plus is the pool.

    Too far away from Rockhampton and transport offered wasn't regular enough and had to be pre booked. Lack of security an issue as had to leave room and go across yard to use loo and shower which when dark was worrying as anyone could walk in and use

    I would recommend but as the YHA is not in the actual town and is in an industrial estate, i didn't feel safe walking at night to find food. It would be good if they put the computers in the lounge so that after 9pm the computers could be used. And

    Quite a long walk to get here from the train station if arriving after 7:45 pm, Facilities fairly average. Staff helpful in planning activities and giving free lift back to railway station.

    Hi, The Rockhampton YHA is cheap, and that's what you get. It's clean, and the staff's nice, but the pool table, pool and laundry room close at 9pm. The kitchen is ok, but filled with ants and the stove looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. T

    Really the only place to stay in Rocky! Good overall, would stay again. Free bus shuttle invaluable.
