Bus:

Train:
Catch the train to Cleveland Station before connecting with Ferry to the island. Local bus service will drop guests to the hostel.

On-site facilities: Manta Lodge YHA offers group accommodation for between 10 - 60 guests. Accommodation facilities include multi-share dorms and twin or double rooms for Group leaders. Groups are able to hire one floor or the whole hostel depending on requirements.
The hostel is a 5-star PADI Dive Centre and features an outdoor BBQ, full kitchen, wireless internet, laundry and games and TV area.
Catering is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, either off-site at activity locations or on-site at the hostel. Coach parking is available on-site alternatively we are able to offer transfers around the island.
Things to do: The hostel can organise sea and nature activities for all groups. The hostel has its own boats which are perfect for snorkeling and diving. The island offers scenic gorge walks, empty beaches and is a great place to sit back and relax.
If your group requires more excitement while on the island activities available include Sandboarding, kayaking, Surfing, 4WD tours, beach activities and Lawn bowls.

If bussing around the island, an all day ticket is the way to go, very inexpensive, and you can hop on and off all day. Surfing lessons at Cyclinder were enjoyed by the kids as was sand surfing. 4WD eco trip was a bit disappointing. Walk around the headland from shops to Main beach was spectacular. Food at bowling club was good value for money. Wednesday pizza and pasta was good value.
