manager nigel was very friendly and knowledgable regarding specific wineries to visit and the follow up on these was highly satisfactory...wish only that there were some (any) shelving in the family room/bathroom...will return!

my only "compaint" would be that the wooden verandah creaks loudly when somebody walks along it to the toilets at night ! great rustic atmosphere looking across to the grapevines next door, very friendly and helpful staff

It is a very peaceful hostel. Nigel and other staff were nice. Just a short walk to an excellent brewery and a nice woodcraft shop to the north. Also recommend to join the wine tour, it will bring you around for wines, spirits, beers, cheese, olives

Whilst in a lovely setting the kitchen was always dirty, cleaned once a day but no one supervised the kids who stayed and consequently the kitchen area was disgusting. The kitchen facilities overall were good, the bathrooms were reasonable and clean

Four adults and one 2year old stayed at this hostel for 2nights. The location is brilliant, the room very clean and fitted out very well. The only downfall was that the lounge room is really the kitchen and dinning room so very noisy with cooking etc
