    I had been sleeping in a tent for 5 nights at the National Folk Festival so really appreciated the warm and comfortable bed. The hostel was handy to public transport, airport bus picked me up at the door for $10 and the cafe was cheap with good food

  • Canberra City YHA is right in the heart of the Australia's capital city, five minutes from the interstate bus terminal.

    This Canberra Backpackers Hostel features a cafe, indoor pool/spa/sauna, internet access, fully-equipped kitchen, rooftop BBQ area, TV/games area, and underground bar.

    The hostel hosts weekly activities and BBQs in summer.

    If it's budget backpacker accommodation you're after, then look no further.

    Family Rooms: To book a family room rate, there must be at least one child under 18 and 1-2 adults; otherwise this special room rate will be adjusted to the usual adult prices with the difference payable on arrival.

    Centrally located, the YHA is the perfect base to explore Australia's capital and its many free attractions. Visit the National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial, Parliament House, and Questacon. Walk or picnic beside Lake Burley Griffin, and enjoy views from Telstra Tower or Mount Ainslie.
